Do I need a dedicated circuit for my hot tub?

Most hot tubs and spas require their own dedicated circuit sized to the equipment's draw. Sharing a circuit with other loads isn't recommended and typically isn't allowed for this type of equipment.

Can I use an existing outdoor outlet instead?

An existing outdoor outlet usually isn't rated for the load a spa or hot tub pulls. We assess your current setup and let you know whether new wiring is needed.

Do I need an outdoor disconnect installed?

Spas and hot tubs generally need a disconnect switch located within sight of the unit so power can be shut off quickly during service or emergencies. We install these as part of the wiring job.

Will my electrical panel support a new hot tub?
