Do I need a dedicated circuit for my hot tub?

Most hot tubs and spas require their own dedicated circuit sized to the equipment's draw. Sharing a circuit with other loads isn't recommended and typically isn't allowed for this type of equipment.

Can I use an existing outdoor outlet instead?

An existing outdoor outlet usually isn't rated for the load a spa or hot tub pulls. We assess your current setup and let you know whether new wiring is needed.

Do I need an outdoor disconnect installed?
